Research Interests
· Tracing the sediment source-to-sink processes using various geochemical proxies, like U and Li isotopes. In particular, constraining the time scale of the sediment source-to-sink process based on sediment comminution age. How fast are sediments produced, stored and exported? Study of small and large catchments under various climates (temperate East Asia, tropical Southeast Asia).
· Environmental evolution of East China in different time scales, from Late Quaternary to Anthropocene.
