  • TEACHING AND RESEARCH

     Research Interests

    ·     Nan’s current research is focused on the use of seismic data to understand dynamic processes in deep-water sedimentology and stratigraphy. Nan's research interests are understanding the physical properties, kinematic indicators, preconditions of submarine mass-transport complexes (MTCs). 2D and 3D seismic reflection and well data (including DSDP, ODP, IODP data) are used to study these purposes.
